5AH Cyber safety charter.
We will agree to:
- Keep personal details private
- Use a strong password (including numbers and letters) which we will keep safe/private
- Only open emails when we know who they are from
- Use child friendly search engines – at school we will use websites approved by the teacher and at home we will use websites approved by our parents/guardians
- Not believe everything on the internet
- Tell a parent, teacher or guardian if we see or hear something we don’t like or don’t think is appropriate
- Not make friends, follow or meet up with someone we don’t know
- Use appropriate language when searching and posting information or comments
- Not say anything we would not say to someone’s face, that we would not like said about ourselves or we would not be happy for our parents/guardians/teachers to see
- Check our spelling before we post comments or send emails
- Not use capitals in messages and posts as it is considered shouting
- Use our manners online
- Not click on pop ups
- To play games and computer activities which are age appropriate
